Conference Overview
Leadership begins with the individual. This dynamic program fosters professional growth and empowers students to harness their unique strengths to seize development opportunities. By focusing on the wisdom, courage, and resilience needed to thrive. Made for Excellence equips participants with the tools to grow as confident leaders who can inspire and influence others. Made for Excellence is a one-day experience open to ALL sophomore Texas FFA members and will be held in conjunction with the Building Excellence and Executing with Excellence conferences. The same conference will be hosted at all locations across Texas on each of the different dates. Dates for conferences can be found HERE.

Students will be able to...
1. Define leadership and identify characteristics that make a strong leader.
2. Identify the significance of choices made everyday.
3. Identify their own strengths and implement strategies for utilizing teammates' strengths.
4. Identify their interests and find opportunities their interests and strengths create.
5. Understand the importance of continual growth and identify areas in their life to develop.
6. Utilize goal setting techniques to capitalize on opportunities.
7. Develop a plan of action to execute an opportunity over the next year.
8. Discuss leadership and planning topics with others.
