Through a competitive selection process, academic scholarships are awarded annually at the Texas FFA Convention to deserving members. Thanks to the generosity of numerous scholarship donors, the Texas FFA will award more than 140 scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors. These scholarships are awarded based on academic and FFA achievements as well as the member's performance in an interview process.
The Texas FFA Foundation has an scholarship endowment to ensure students can receive these scholarships in perpetuity. We are proud to provide deserving members with approximately $2.4 million a year in academic and award scholarships.

2025 Texas FFA Scholarship Information
Scholarship applications are open and students can apply through their Texas FFA account on the roster system. Apps will close depending on your area's submission date.

Please Note:
SAT/ACT: The SAT/ACT requirement remains in place. Students must take and score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT to be eligible to apply. No super score are accepted.
FAFSA: Students must complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA. The turn around time to get your SAI is 1-3 days. Have students complete their FAFSA. Once it has been processed, they can find their FAFSA Submission Summary report by going to their "My Activity" section. There is a "Print FAFSA Submission Summary" in the top right corner, save this as a PDF and utilize the SAI number on this report in their application.

PH 22.4 (a) (10) Candidates who receive a Terry Foundation Scholarship are NOT eligible to receive a Texas FFA Academic Scholarship.
