Overview      

Participants complete a 50-question written exam; identify seeds, insects, soils and crops; demonstrate knowledge of agronomic management to solve a practical problems. Teams consist of three or four members and the top three scores are tabulated for the final team score.

Odd Years (2023 onward)
1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21
Even Years (2022 onward)
2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20

State winning team advances to national competition which is held during the National FFA Convention in late October.

*This CDE has no area level state qualifying contest!
