Overview
A four member team demonstrates the professional sales process including customer relations, advertising and promotion, telephone skills and product display. Members also complete an exam, present a project summary and make a sales presentation for an agricultural product. They complete one of four practical problems and cooperatively solve a market analysis problem.
The state winning team advances to national competition which is held during the National FFA Convention in late October.

Additional Comments From the Superintendent:
As noted in the materials, the two systems are the same thing. Cumberland buys the Lubing system and essentially rebrands it as a Cumberland. Your students are selling for Cumberland under their brand, but you can use the Lubing information for the specs.
As for which system to market, you can use the litterguard as an upsell, or begin straight with the litterguard included, depending on what your customer’s identified needs are.
