Overview
Each member of a state first place Career Development Event (CDE), Speaking Development Event (SDE) or Leadership Development (LDE) team will receive a $250 Texas FFA Award Scholarship upon high school graduation. Since this is an award scholarship (not academic scholarship), the student from a state winning team does not need to apply, they simply need to submit an award acceptance agreement upon graduation to the Texas FFA Foundation for the release of funds.
Steps to Claim:
1. Visit https://mytexasffa.org/foundation/claim-award
2. Scroll down and find who sponsored the scholarship you are receiving.
3. Write a well thought out thank you note. Before mailing, you must make a copy.
4. Fill out the The Texas FFA Award Acceptance Agreement
5. Email both, the copy of the thank you and the acceptance agreement, in one email to scholarships@texasffafoundation.org.
