Junior FFA
Membership in the Texas Junior FFA is open to students in grades where agricultural science courses are not offered. Each local FFA Chapter may determine whether or not to offer Junior membership within their chapter. Junior FFA members must be at least eight years old and in the third grade. Please read Junior FFA Policy for specific details regarding membership and eligibility.

All Junior FFA membership is due to the Texas FFA no later than December 1st.

Parents who are interested in signing their student up for Junior FFA should contact the FFA advisor (ag teacher) at the high school where the FFA Chapter is housed for more information on local availability, deadlines, and potential additional membership requirements.

Active Membership
To be eligible for active membership in a chartered FFA chapter, a student must be enrolled in a secondary agricultural education program. State associations may consider “secondary agricultural education programs” to be grades 7-12.

FFA Alumni
Adult membership is open to anyone who is interested in supporting and promoting agriculture, agricultural education and the FFA at the local, state and national level.
