The 96th Annual Texas FFA State Convention was only possible with the countless supporters who believe in the future of agriculture.

”We recognize the importance of youth in agriculture and are committed to helping them succeed,” said Kayla Robinson, AgTexas Farm Credit’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are proud to invest in tomorrow’s agriculture by supporting organizations like Texas FFA.”

The Texas FFA Foundation works to strengthen agricultural education and Texas FFA by building relationships with key stakeholders. 

Aaron Alejandro, Executive Director of the Texas FFA Foundation, shared that when individuals or businesses invest in the Texas FFA, they are able to support a great cause, get their brand in front of an “incredible marketplace,” and “have the potential to recruit some exceptional talent.”

“What separates our kids from everybody else? In the world of agriculture, if we don’t do our jobs, something dies,” Alejandro said. “That’s the kind of values we are instilling in these kids.”

The Texas FFA Foundation hosted the 2024 VIP Breakfast in conjunction with the convention to thank sponsors for their generous contributions and support. 

During the breakfast, Ken Johnson, distinguished attorney and former Chairman of the Texas FFA Foundation Board of Directors, received the prestigious Passion for Excellence award. This award is given annually to an individual who has demonstrated a passion for serving others.
