Teacher Appreciation Week 2024: Freebies and Deals Offered for Educators

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6 - 10, and it’s the annual time to show our ag teachers some gratitude that they most definitely deserve.
Several businesses and restaurants will be offering deals and freebies to say thank you!
Food
Applebee’s: Teachers (with valid ID) who dine-in at Applebee's during National Teacher Appreciation Week will get a free dessert with any purchase. They'll also get a voucher for a BOGO free entree for a future order, which can be redeemed from May 13 - June 9.
Buffalo Wild Wings: From Monday, May 6, to Sunday, May 12, teachers and school staff get 20% off their orders with valid IDs on dine-in, call-in, and walk-in orders.
Burger King: Teachers can enjoy free fries with any purchase.
Dickey's Barbeque Pit: From Monday, May 6 to May 12, any nurse or teacher will receive a FREE Big Yellow Cup with an in-store purchase of $10+. Must present valid ID.
Dunkin’ Donuts: Teachers can get their caffeine fix once a day, every day during Teacher Appreciation Week. Dunkin’ Refreshers are only $3 through Dunkin’ Rewards.
Einstein Bros. Bagels: Offering 20% gift cards for anyone who wants to treat their favorite teacher.
Firehouse Subs: The sandwich chain has a week of specials available starting Monday through its Firehouse Rewards loyalty program and app including (on Wednesday) BOGO Hook & Ladder Subs and (on Friday) two medium sandwiches for $12 or two large sandwiches for $18.
Golden Corral: Teachers get 20% off one adult buffet purchase from Monday to Friday, May 6-10. (Identification or proof of employment must be shown to receive the discount. Available at participating locations.)
Hat Creek Burger Company: All teachers and school staff get a free 6-piece order of nuggets on Tuesday, May 7 (just show a valid ID).
HTeaO: The iced tea chain will give teachers 50% off cups of tea from Monday, May 13, to Sunday, May 26, with a valid professional school ID.
Insomnia Cookies: All teachers and school staff who show a valid ID receive a free Classic cookie in-store, no purchase necessary, all week beginning Monday, May 6. (Availability varies by location.)
Logan’s Roadhouse: Giving teachers 20% off their entrée all week long.
Krispy Kreme: Get a free dozen donuts for the staff room when you join Krispy Kreme Rewards by May. 11. The deal is open to everyone, not just teachers.
McAlister’s Deli: Teachers and educators can get free tea – either one big Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea, ½ Sweet & ½ Unsweet Tea, or ½ Lemonade & ½ Sweet/Unsweet Tea (flavor shots excluded) – at McAlister's Deli from Monday, May 6, to Sunday, May 12, with your badge or ID. Offer valid in-store only; no purchase necessary.
McDonald’s: Offering free breakfast for school teachers, administrators and staff across the Houston area from May 6-10. Teachers and staff will be required to show a valid school ID to enjoy the free breakfast of their choice, along with a medium premium roast or bold iced coffee.
Moe’s Southwest Grill: Cater a Moe's Southwest Grill meal for teachers from Monday, May 6, to Sunday, May 12, and when you spend $300 or more, get a $50 E-gift card (use code THANKYOU24). Good at participating locations; not valid with other offers or third-party delivery. Doesn't include tax, tip and fees.
Noodles & Company: Parents, school administrators, and educators alike can get $15 off catering orders of $100 or more through May 17. Log into your Noodles Rewards account and use the code THANKSTEACHERS at checkout.
Peter Piper Pizza: Teachers can get a free personal pizza every day Monday through Friday (May 6-10). Redemption is limited to once per day; valid teacher or nurse ID/credentials must be shown.
Potbelly: Teachers get a free cookie or fountain drink with the purchase of an entre´e by showing their ID Monday, May 6, to Sunday, May 12. Also, all customers can get free delivery on a catering order over $150.
Shipley Donuts: Teachers who belong to the chain's Do-Happy loyalty program can get a free half-dozen box of glazed Do-nuts with any purchase on Monday, May 6.
Smoothie King: Teachers can get $2 off their smoothies on May 6 and 7 with promo code THANKS2024.
Shake Shack: Offering teachers a free milkshake with an in-store purchase through Sunday, May 12.
Sonic: Educators enrolled in the Sonic Teachers’ Circle Rewards program can take advantage of several deals starting Monday, May 6, to May 20; they include BOGO free Sonic Blast, BOGO free entre´e, free Sonic cheeseburger with any purchase, free Large Drink or Slush with any purchase, or free small side with any entre´e.
TGI Fridays: Teachers get a free entre´e on Tuesday, May 7, at participating locations; choices include a cheeseburger with fries, half rack of ribs with choice of side, and Caesar salad with grilled chicken.
Whataburger: School employees can get a free Taquito, Breakfast on a Bun, or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. local time Monday, May 6, to Friday, May 10 with ID.
Yogurtland: Through May 14, the frozen yogurt chain is offering free delivery on orders of more than $15 made through the website or mobile app (use code FREEDELIVERY).
Technology
Adobe: Students and teachers can get Creative Cloud All Apps for 60% off. That’s $20 per month instead of the usual $55. You’ll have desktop and mobile access to apps like Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Premiere Pro, and more.
Apple: The Apple Education Store allows certain groups, like teachers, to shop discounted Apple products and get up to $200 off on computers and other accessories.
AT&T: Offering teachers and their families 25% off wireless plans with proof of eligibility.
Samsung: Samsung’s Education Offers Program gives teachers and educators up to 30% off on laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other tech-related Samsung products when shopping on their website.

1-800-Flowers: Teachers save up to $15 on select teacher appreciation flower arrangements and gifts.
Academy Sports and Outdoors: Offering 10% off all purchases during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Barnes and Noble: Full-time teachers can save up to 25% on purchases for their classrooms.
Cole Haan: Get 20% off with a valid teacher email.
Crayola: Crayola is offering everyone 25% off all products from its Teacher Gift Ideas category page. No promo code is needed to claim this offer, as the price shown on qualifying products reflects the discount.
Crocs: Throughout the month of May, teachers can save 25% on their Crocs.com orders. Just verify your status with SheerID, and your discount will automatically be applied at checkout!

Staples: From Sunday, May 5, to Saturday, May 11, teachers can get free supply kits at Staples stores; kits include markers, pens, pencils, and glue. Vineyard Vines: Stock up on some new clothes with 15% off everything.
Year-Long Deals
Apple: Teachers can get education pricing on computers and iPads. Just show your ID and ask for the teacher discount in-stores.
Costco: Teachers receive a free $20 Costco gift card with the purchase of a membership.
Headspace: People who work in education, including K-12 teachers, school administrators, and support staff, can get one free year of one of the most popular guided meditation apps (usually $70 per year). You will need to redeem the offer using your school email.
Hertz: Offers discounts of up to 25% off its car rental service for teachers.
Michael’s: Teachers can get 15% off all online and in-store purchases.
Office Depot.Office Max: Both stores are offering teachers 30% back in bonus rewards on qualifying purchases from now until June 29. Valid in-store only with a valid teacher ID.
Reebok: Teachers are part of the “Heroes Discount Program,” which gives up to 50% off for online purchases. You will need to do a verification with ID.me to access the discounts.
The Parking Spot: The parking company is giving teachers 25% off parking during their trips; just sign up with an associated education email account.
