Teacher Appreciation Week 2023: Freebies and Deals Offered for Educators

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8 - 12, and it’s the annual time to show our ag teachers some gratitude that they most definitely deserve.

Several businesses and restaurants will be offering deals and freebies to say thank you!

Food

Andy's Frozen Custard: Teachers can get a complimentary one-topping "Teacher Sundae" until May 7.

Applebee’s: Enjoy 50% off appetizers if you are a teacher.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Whether you are a teacher or not, any customer who orders a burger at Buffalo Wild Wings can get six boneless wings for just $1 more, through May 30.

Dickey's Barbeque Pit: From May 8th – May 12th, teachers will get a free Big Yellow Cup with a minimum purchase of $10 with show of valid employment ID. The offer is also valid for nurses May 6th – 12th.

Einstein Bros. Bagels: Offering 20% gift cards for anyone who wants to treat their favorite teacher.

Firehouse Subs: From May 8th-12th, teachers get a FREE medium sub with the purchase of a medium (or large) sub, chips and drink. Must show valid ID.

Freddy’s: Will be giving educators one mini single topping ice cream sundae (usually $3.19) for free when they show their faculty ID during National Teacher Appreciation Week. There is a limit of one per educator per day, so you should be able to do this all week.

Insomnia Cookies: Teachers, daycare employees, and school staff who make a $5 in-store purchase and show proper ID will get a free six-pack of Classic Cookies from May 8-12. The deal is one per person and only for in-store purchases; educators can show a work ID, pay stub, or other official proof of employment.

Logan’s Roadhouse: Giving teachers 20% off their entrée all week long (May 8-12).

Marble Slab: Teachers can get a free small ice cream with a valid ID.

McAlister’s Deli: Teachers who stop by during May 3rd-10th and show their valid ID will receive a FREE 32-ounce tea.

McDonald’s: Offering free breakfast for school teachers, administrators and staff. Teachers and staff will be required to show a valid school ID to enjoy the free breakfast of their choice, along with a medium premium roast or bold iced coffee.

Potbelly: During the week of May 8, any teacher who presents a school ID while ordering an in-store meal will receive their choice of a free cookie or regular-sized soft drink with purchase of an entree. 

Sonic: App users enrolled in the Teachers’ Circle Rewards program will receive a reward for a free SONIC Cheeseburger with any purchase. This reward is valid for one-time use from May 9 to May 16, 2023.

Stanley: Teachers save on camp and cookware with a valid school ID

Tiff's Treats: Tiff's treats is celebrating teachers by offering 15% off cookie orders through May 7 for online or mobile orders when you use the promo code COOKIE15 at checkout. Offer valid for orders picked up or delivered by May 7, 2023. A minimum purchase of $15 is required to get Tiff’s Treats Elites® free delivery.

Whataburger: Whataburger is offering FREE week-long breakfast entrees for all teachers from 5 a.m. - 9 a.m. Teachers will be able to choose from a taquito with cheese, a breakfast on a bun or a honey butter chicken biscuit. They will also receive a 25% discount on all retail items from the Whatastore by using the code WHATATEACHER23.



Technology

Adobe: Students and teachers can get Creative Cloud All Apps for 60% off. That’s $20 per month instead of the usual $55. You’ll have desktop and mobile access to apps like Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Premiere Pro, and more.

Apple: The Apple Education Store allows certain groups, like teachers, to shop discounted Apple products and get up to $200 off on computers and other accessories.

AT&T: AT&T is offering unlimited plans to teachers and their families for $27 per month per line if you get at least four lines. Check out all of their Teacher Appreciation discounts here.

Samsung
Samsung’s Education Offers Program gives teachers and educators up to 30% off on laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other tech-related Samsung products when shopping on their website.

1-800-Flowers: Teachers save up to $15 on select teacher appreciation flower arrangements and gifts.

Academy Sports and Outdoors: Offering 10% off all purchases during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Barnes and Noble: Full-time teachers can save up to 25% on purchases for their classrooms.

Cole Haan: Get 20% off with a valid teacher email.

Crayola: Crayola is offering everyone 25% off all products from its Teacher Gift Ideas category page. No promo code is needed to claim this offer, as the price shown on qualifying products reflects the discount.

Crocs: Throughout the month of May, teachers can save 25% on their Crocs.com orders. Just verify your status with SheerID, and your discount will automatically be applied at checkout!

Dell: Enjoy 10% off select computers and other electronics.

Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine: Offering 40% off reservations booked from May 10 - Sept. 21. The reservations must be booked by May 14. Use the code TEACHER to apply. Also, families can nominate a teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week on Twitter by using the hashtag #GWLTerrificTeacher, tagging @GreatWolfLodge and sharing why their teacher is so amazing. Ten teachers will win a $1,000 gift card to use to purchase classroom supplies.

Half Price Books: Enjoy 10% off orders.

Hanes: Teachers (and retired teachers) get 10% off orders on lounge clothes.

Home Chef: This exclusive deal gives teachers 50% off their first box and 10% off each box after that.

Hunter: Sport some new boots with 20% off for educators.

JoAnn Fabrics: Teachers get 15% off orders.

L.L Bean: Save 10% off your order.

ModCloth: Educators can enjoy 20% off clothing.

Party City: Educators can save between 10% and 20% on qualifying purchases.

Under Armour: Teachers get 20% off purchases.

Vineyard Vines: Stock up on some new clothes with 15% off everything.



Year-Long Deals

Apple: Teachers can get education pricing on computers and iPads. Just show your ID and ask for the teacher discount in-stores.

Costco: Teachers receive a free $20 Costco gift card with the purchase of a membership.
Headspace: People who work in education, including K-12 teachers, school administrators, and support staff, can get one free year of one of the most popular guided meditation apps (usually $70 per year). You will need to redeem the offer using your school email.

Michael’s: Teachers can get 15% off all online and in-store purchases.

Office Depot: Giving teachers 30% back in Bonus Rewards. Through July 1, 2023, teachers who are Office Depot Rewards members get 30% back in Bonus Rewards on qualifying regularly priced purchases with your teacher ID, Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards member number, and this coupon at checkout.

Reebok: Teachers are part of the “Heroes Discount Program,” which gives up to 50% off for online purchases. You will need to do a verification with ID.me to access the discounts.
