The Randy Rogers Band kicked-off the first night of the 88th Annual Texas FFA Convention highlighting their traditional rustic sound by showcasing fiddle and steel guitar.
Texas FFA members flooded the arena and anxiously waited for the show filled with Texas tunes.
“The Randy Rogers band helped kick-off a great week, said El Campo FFA member, McKenzie Ellis said. “It was fun and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.”
The band entertained with a ninety-minute set list of their most popular hits such as “Interstate”, “Kiss Me in the Dark”, and “Neon Blues.” They also introduced a new single called “San Antone” that showcased the familiar sounds we all have come to know and love.
Members and guests sang along and took a few twirls around the concrete dance floor as the music poured from the speakers. The performance by the band struck the perfect cord and set the beat for this year’s convention.
“The convention is full of energy, and the concert pumped it up to the next level,” Nazareth FFA member, Riley Durbin said.
