The Texas FFA Foundation hosted the 2018 VIP breakfast to thank sponsors for their generous contributions and support, on July 12 during the annual state convention.
“It is important to invest in the youth of agriculture,” said Jeff Pierce, CEO of Pierce Arrow Inc. “I learned practical skills in the FFA that I later used to generate revenue and to start a business of my own.”

Texas FFA supporters and donors are a crucial reason the Texas FFA is able to continue the development, funding, and implementation of cutting edge learning opportunities. They support a mission that matters.
Before the conclusion of the breakfast, Brian McCoy, President and CEO of McCoy Building Supply, received the prestigious Passion for Excellence award. This award is given annually to an individual who has demonstrated a passion of service to others.

“Agriculture is a huge part of everyone’s lives no matter how far you think you are removed from it,” said Ty McClellen, Texas FFA Foundation Ambassador and Odom FFA member. “That is why our sponsors support the Texas FFA.”
