Steps to Claim:
1. Visit

2. Scroll down and find who sponsored the scholarship you are receiving.
3. Write a well thought out thank you note. Before mailing, you must make a copy.
4. Fill out the The Texas FFA Award Acceptance Agreement
5. Email both, the copy of the thank you and the acceptance agreement, in one email to scholarships@texasffafoundation.org.

1. Do I have to wait until I am a senior to claim an award scholarship?
No, you do not have to wait until you are a senior. Since these are not academic scholarships, you can claim them at any point during your time in FFA.
2. Do I need to be going to college to claim?
No, you do not need to be attending college to claim. Please make sure to claim your funds within the specified timeline—you’ve worked hard to earn this Award Scholarship!
3. Will I get a reminder to claim?
No, reminders will not be sent. If you choose to wait to claim, it is your responsibility to do so within the specified timeline
4. How long do I have to claim?
We recommend claiming as soon as the above timeline allows. Award scholarships will be help for 24 months after graduation. To hold a scholarship longer than 24 months you must submit an email requesting funding to be placed on hold for more than 24 months.
5. I forgot to make a copy of my thank you note, what can I do?
We ask that you write another one, as expressing gratitude to our sponsors is always appreciated. Taking the time to thank them helps show our appreciation for their support.
6. What can I use the funds for?
These funds can be used to support a variety of educational and developmental opportunities, including SAE projects, dual credit classes, technical college, and college prep expenses. They are intended to help you invest in your future in a way that best supports your goals
